TRACKING AND RECORDING OF THE MOISTURE AND TEMPERATURE VALUES OF THE PRODUCTION ROOMS

GOAL

Measurement of the temperature and humidity of the medicine tablet presssing rooms by located sensors , imaging of the measured values on the Scada software , recording to the database and trending are being held.

DESIGN AND TECHNOLOGY

In this system, data acquisition units ( RTU ) are used. With these units it is possible to gather the the analog current signals which were spread on the field and it is possible to transmit them to computer. Lookout 4.0 SCADA 8 ( National Instruments ) was used as the software.

SOLUTION

To record the temperature and humidity values sensitively a database is formed. The database is a "Event Driving" database. If the increases with a defined size occurs, the values are recorded. So the hard disk space is saved. On the user interface there is the plan of all rooms and instantaneous temperature and moisture. When the measured temperature values becomes bigger than the alarm values, the user is warned from the screen. Also all alarms are recorded to the database.

RESULT

In this project, the temperature and moisture values of the production rooms ,which are very important for the medicine sector, are recorded to a dijital database instead of the old method of recording to paper. Total 50 analog data is acquired from the spreaded data acquisition units on the field and transmitted to the computer.

This technology enables to record thousands of analog analog and digital inputs to one computer and forms a SCADA web to inspect a production process. The developed software enables users to reach the database, observe and control the process over the Local Area Network or over the Internet.
