| Tractor Rockshaft Performance Development & Durability Test Customer Hema Industry Company Goal To determine the performance and stability values of the hydrolic tractor lifts under the forces and compulsion while driving on a field. Design and Technology An actuator system which simulates the forces and compulsions on a Tractor lift while driving was designed. This actuator system makes the tractor hydrolics to be exposed to several compulsions in certain periods and for a certain time. 10 different tests 10 different compulsions were developed. The hydrolic structure which is under the test has two servo motors and are sensetively positioning the arms that controls the oil pressure and its direction. The pressure intervals that the test will be made are measured by static and dinamic pressure sensors which can stand high pressure shock impacts. The oil flow is sensed by flow meter, the temparature is sensed by thermocouples and the the positions of servomotors are sensed by encoders at the same time. The test system ia designed as PC Based. A computer with the industrial standards, National Instrument' s servo motor controller board, a multi function data acquisition board and a digital I/O board are the basic components of the system. The software which executes all of the tests automatically, shows operator the instantaneous test values on the screen and records the sensed values to the database is developed on National Instrument's Labview 6i test software developing platform. Solution 10 different tests are being made in the project. In the developed test system with some changes all tests are being done in one system. The tests are divided into two groups: Lifetime tests and performance tests. Lifetime Tests ( Five Tests): In this part lift is being tested by 5 tests. The goal of the lifetime tests to make the test in certain (çevrim) numbers and espacially to analyze position changes of the lifting arms and the changes in the hydrolic oil during the test. It is aimed to make the lift out of service after a certain number of (çevrimler). The estimated time for these tests are 6 months if the lift works 24 hour a day. Performance Tests (Five Tests): The tests in this part is being done before and after the lifetime tests inorder to analyse the lifts contidion after the lifetime tests. These tests takes approximately 1 hour. The user interface has the features of simplicity and easy usage which are also the general features of the test softwares designed by the E3TAM Project Group. Operator can see all the test results in a single screen. As the 10 test are developed on the same (altyapı) the operator can understand the structure of all test in a short time and execute them.
Result This project has been tested by the patent owner United States firm and accepted with the highest sufficiency approval. The system was stated to be developed with a more advanced system structure than the similar systems in USA. And this system can easily be adapted to similar industry branches. *Spesific informations about the tests were not given because of the secrecy agreement. Referance To the E3TAM management, The simulator project for Hydrolic lift lifetime and performance tests in our facilities in Çerkezköy with 10 different functions which is formed of PC based motion control and data acquisition compotents has been completed and has successfully passed all of the tests which took a long time. I congratulate all of you R&D team because your success in developing this project with the international standarts and also approved by our patent owner firm John Deree . And we thank your team for their ethical and professional work. Yüksel
